The Rendezvous Inn & Restaurant is housed in an historic building in Fort Bragg, on the beautiful Mendocino Coast. The house was built in 1897 by Herbert Baum, the town pharmacist. Downstairs, the restaurant, which has been rated #1 for food by the 2006-2009 (tied in 2009) Zagat Surveys of San Francisco-Bay Area Restaurants, is housed in the original redwood-paneled dining room. Also downstairs is a separate dining room in which breakfast is served, and a guest parlor with a sunny southern exposure. Upstairs, there are four comfortable guest rooms. All have private baths. Two have queen beds, one has two queens, and the fourth is ideally suited for families, with a queen in one room and two twins in another. A cottage--built originally as the children's playhouse--houses another two rooms, each with a queen bed and private bath. |
