The Prickly Pear Bed and Breakfast provides eco-friendly & charming accommodations in the heart of Socorro, New Mexico's historic Old Town & Plaza District. Patrons can relax in the colorful and eclectically decorated suite while sipping fair-trade coffee and enjoying a delicious breakfast emphasizing locally grown and organic ingredients. The Prickly Pear is a very short walk from some of Socorro's finest dining and entertainment and within minutes of the New Mexico Tech Campus.
The Sunroom Suite is spacious, with an abundance of windows. It includes a large bedroom with a comfortable queen sized bed, a full bath with tub and shower, a private dining room and sunroom/sitting area. The suite has two private entrances, reserved parking and a lovely guest-only outdoor area in which to sip coffee or watch the birds. The suite includes free WiFi, a microwave and small refrigerator, as well as a TV and DVD player for viewing movies. Guests can enjoy the suite’s collection of popular movie DVDs, eclectic music CDs, books and magazines. The suite is $125/night (plus applicable taxes) for double occupancy. During holidays and over the time surrounding the Festival of the Cranes in November of each year, we have a 2 night minimum stay. For 2009, the 2 night minimum will apply from November 13 to November 22 and December 21 to December 31.
If guests in The Sunroom Suite require an extra bedroom for children or friends, the adjacent Blue Room is a cozy space with turquoise blue walls, cheerful organic cotton sheets and a double bed. The Blue Room has a small, private half bath with a sink and toilet. Full bath facilities, as well as the dining and sitting area are shared with The Sunroom Suite. The Blue Room is only rented as an adjunct to the Suite and not on its own. The Suite and Blue Room together are $190/night (plus applicable taxes). |
